ROO DUCTS

Intermediate Brake Cooling Ducts for Subaru cars

Made in carbon and kevlar as needed.

Very light and easy to mount and use.

This is what the Roo Duct looks like in place.

Here's what the front of the Roo Duct looks like.

Here's what the back of the Roo Duct looks like.

This picture shows how little room there is to get air past the suspension parts and the tire and how the Roo Duct uses that space.

At ride height, the Roo Duct blows directly at the brakes.

These pictures show how simply the test car was fitted with just 3" dryer hose

and racer tape to an existing hole in the RS front bumper cover.

This is what the hole in the bumper looks like without the hose.

In this test, the Roo Duct just has a simple white dryer hose attached to the inlet.

The inlet of the dryer hose is taped to a small opening in the RS style fascia.

The Roo Duct is not attached to the brake and the stock backing plate is still in place.

This is about the worst way the Roo Duct would ever be installed.

The car was driven to 55 MPH, then the brakes were applied quite hard while

adding gas slowing the car to 45 at full throttle in 2nd gear.

I then took the temperatures of the cooled and un-cooled brakes.

Even with these bad conditions, there is a noticeable difference, about 25%.

The latest test at Nelson Ledges with an Sti doing 1:18's showed rotor temps of 500 degrees when arriving at the paddock.

No hose between the Roo Duct and the backing plate.

There was no fade or pedal softness all day long.

Roo Ducts are available for $450/pair,

weigh under 150 grams each

and have 3" inlets and outlets which allow

use with many existing systems and

individual brake cooling parts you may already own.

Roo Ducts are the answer to your brake cooling problems.
